BCD Travel Project Consultant - Hotels in United Kingdom
BCD Meetings & Events are looking for a Project Consultant, for a 12 month fixed term contract, to be based in the Fleet office but will require occasional travel (both within the UK and abroad) for client meetings and events.
The main focus of this role is to provide the delegate registration and housing for events from the event set up, website build and briefing through to post event reporting, providing first class customer service throughout.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of managing projects and experience tells us that people from a hotel background work well in these roles. They must have a good understanding of databases and spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail being paramount.
They will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to liaise with delegates, other departments and deal with both internal and external clients, providing quality assurance and ensuring timelines are delivered. They will take responsibility and ownership for all project mailboxes and incoming queries and calls.
A 'can do' attitude along with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team is a must. Applicants must have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook.
This role will involve being onsite, which may include stays for up to two weeks both in and outside of the UK.
