Located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. The Titchfield facility boasts extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types.

We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to support Eaton's Aerospace Group sales and growth objectives by providing works cost estimates and pricing strategies to support new and repeat business opportunities primarily across the FMC UK sites of Titchfield, South Molton and Bedhampton.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver precise and prompt estimate data to bolster business development initiatives.

  • Engage in active dialogue with both internal teams and external partners to gather essential information and cost details.

  • Develop comprehensive estimates for a diverse array of projects, including but not limited to: Original Equipment (OE) supply, engineering projects, maintenance and refurbishment, and spare parts supply.

  • Set achievable targets for task completion that align with the dynamic needs of the business.

  • Conduct thorough analyses of customer proposals.

  • Compile and present pertinent data to facilitate effective pricing discussions, catering to both internal stakeholders and external clients and auditors.

  • Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing costs.

  • Assemble data to inform strategic make/buy decisions.

  • Generate monthly reports as a component of the Division’s reporting schedule.

  • Annually revise customer price lists to ensure sustained profitability.

  • Ensure all findings and decisions are clearly communicated to all relevant parties.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Skills:

  • Estimating experience is highly regarded, with a preference for candidates who have a proven track record in this area.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, as it is a critical tool for data analysis and estimate formulation.

  • An understanding of associated engineering development and manufacturing processes, is highly beneficial.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities are required, both in verbal articulation and visual representation.

  • Strong analytical prowess and business insight are key to success in this role.

  • Outstanding communication skills, including the capacity for persuasion, attentive listening, and the power to influence decisions, are paramount. The ability to solve problems effectively and work well in a collaborative environment is also crucial.
