Job Summary:

Raytheon, an RTX business, is looking for a Signal Processing Systems Engineer to join our systems engineering team. Our Engineers support technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, system capability and feature designs, defining system interfaces and acceptance criteria.

In this role, the candidate will provide engineering support for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering. To succeed in this role, you must have development lifecycle experience using the Agile methodology, experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and/or RF domain experience, experience with digital communications and be familiar with Algorithm development. The position is full time, on-site in State College, PA.

Basic Qualifications :

• Active TS/SCI

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience

• Demonstrated system engineering lifecycle experience developing large software systems.

• Support of agile software development activities, including requirements specification and integration test and verification activities (full life-cycle)

• Ability to maintain technical cost and schedule for systems engineering and software integration activities

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements, set priorities, develop practical methods, and align resources to meet goals.

• Experience interacting with both programmatic and technical presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

• SIGINT, GEOINT, or Multi-INT Intelligence Community (IC) background analyst with end user mission experience

• Experience in a technical role of a large multi-disciplined engineering team

• Experience with cloud-based S/W architectures and systems

• Experience developing MBSE and/or DoDAF operational views for overview and details

• AWS cloud experience - AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience, as a System Engineer

• Experience using modeling resources and methodologies like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc.

• CompTIA Security + Certification – Linux

• Experience using Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), and evaluation of COTS / FOSS applications

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
