Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to assume the role of a Leader for Regional Commodity Management, Cost and Value Engineering, Sustainability, and Global Procurement Engineering. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in procurement and engineering, and a deep understanding of sustainable practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring cost-effective and sustainable procurement practices across our global operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with both local and global stakeholders to boost the productivity in SCM by utilizing the expertise team of Cost Value Engineering, Sustainability, Regional Commodity Management as well as Global Procurement Engineering team.

• Lead the RCM team for generating and executing the strategy for selected commodities with the alignment of local and global stakeholders.

• Monitor market trends, assess supply chain risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Identify the further potential for regional pooling, joint supplier management.

• Promote the concept CVE in the community by successful cases.

• Implement lean methodologies and drive continuous improvement in cost and value engineering practices.

• Utilize the local/global resource for the enhancing and awareness of SCM Sustainability in supply chain.

• As the bridge between local GVP Hub and Global communities to ensure the well utilization of global expertise team.

• Ensure the earlier involvement of Procurement by strengthening the Global Procurement Engineering function.

• Further enhance the competence of the team to fulfill the continuously updating business requirements.

• Coaching the team for business transaction as well as stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Extensive experience in procurement, commodity management, and cost engineering.

• Strong understanding of sustainable procurement practices and their application in a global context.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in data analysis and ability to derive actionable insights.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experienced in stakeholder management.

• Knowledge of lean methodologies, value engineering, and continuous improvement practices.

• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards related to sustainability.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English

• Willing for traveling domestic and international.
