The Opportunity

Procter & Gamble is seeking a Cloud Application Technical Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as an operational manager of a technical team, responsible for crafting, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions. We are looking for someone who can work under pressure to drive operational excellence for our North America business leaders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serves as the technical operation manager for custom Cloud based application – partnering with internal and external teams to meet operational excellence deliverables for North America region

  • Technical escalation point - reviewing code, adjusting if needed, approving code changes.

  • Partners with product owner within the group to understand pain points and new requirements. Executes assessment, prioritization, and needs with the vendor support team.

  • Assist with ensuring sound design, development and implementation of data and analytics cloud-based analytics platforms and pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data.

  • Partners with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years experience implementing solutions in a Cloud provider, Microsoft Azure preferred

  • 2+ years experience developing and supporting reports in tool such as Power BI, Tableau.

  • Strong proficiency in Python & SQL

  • Demonstrated skills in databases and data modeling or experience with Big Data technologies (Spark,Hive, Beam).

  • Passion about writing high-quality, clean, effective code.

  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with and managing vendor development teams.

  • Strong focus on agile software practices, test-driven development, reliability.

  • Practical knowledge using, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience making distributed systems observable (e.g., logging, monitoring, request tracing).

  • Experience with development best practices, including query optimization, version control, code reviews, and documentation.

  • Knowledge of container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

  • A Cloud Certification.
