Primary Function

The Marketing Project and Traffic Manager is an organized, detail‐oriented resource with agency experience to support a global marketing department. This includes client service, project organization, project management, media trafficking, communication, facilitation and completion, specifically for a creative agency. This role will require a focus on 50% Creative Media Trafficking / Project Management and 50% Marketing Project Coordination and compliance management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support teams in end-to-day project management tasks specifically focused on internal agency communications

  • Prepare and maintain media trafficking status reports, meeting recaps, specs trackers, and media/creative traffic inputs using agency platforms

  • Management of creative trafficking inputs for advertising using Aprimo

  • Aide in building key project management documents for efforts and keep them up to date for the life of a project

  • Monitor project requests and communicate with stakeholders regarding project progress and status

  • Write meeting recaps capturing next steps and agreements to formally communicate back to teams

  • Organize the operations surrounding a project under tight timelines

  • Coordinate meetings and collaboration among project team(s)

  • Maintain and organize teams shared files and communications

  • Ensure final creative work goes to proofreading and exercises proper quality controls for pieces prior to final share outs

  • Provides support in preparation of presentations and reports

  • Manage overall compliance activity/administration for marketing tactics

  • Submit compliance and risk management documentation, preapprovals, reports on behalf of marketing team organization, including administering controls and any related reporting/documentation

  • Help to create and maintain relationships with various teams, departments and stakeholders

  • Support end to end project management and traffic/delivery (inclusive of Campaign Planning deliverables) for specified marketing campaigns.

  • Leads small and medium inject projects as capacity allows

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated stellar written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of sense of urgency; Actively listens to others and acts upon information gained

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; attention to detail critically important

  • Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including team personnel, clients and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships

  • Ability to organize cross‐functional groups

  • Strong problem‐solving skills

  • A positive and proactive attitude

  • Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality

  • Proficiency with MS Office; able to create forms, tables, charts and formulas

Education & Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Art, Design, Communications, Business or related field required

  • 3+ years project coordination experience

  • 1+ years in a corporate environment

  • Experience in an advertising agency managing creative development and the trafficking of advertising

  • Experience working in technology tools that facilitate project management e.g. Asana, Aprimo
