SUMMARY

The Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer responsible for assisting in developing the vision, strategy, and standardizing care delivery throughout Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine within RRH. The position works in collaboration with multiple executive and physician leaders throughout the health system. The Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer will develop and execute on growth targets/KPIs for the assigned service line at Rochester Regional Health and be a catalyst for financial and operational growth.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; Days

ATTRIBUTES

  • Master's degree Business, Management, or related field required.
  • 4-6 years of progressive managerial and leadership experience and a proven track record in departmental, program, and project management, including oversight of personnel and budget required.
  • 7-10 years of progressive managerial and leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong record of successful leadership in an executive level role in hospital administration or similar healthcare segment.
  • Strategic and visionary leadership capacity with strong financial and operational strength.
  • Demonstrated success in managing operational and service line growth.
  • Demonstrated success developing and retaining highly engaged, high performing teams and aligning talent to meet business objectives.
  • Strong project management skills, experience and familiarity with a breadth of related approaches designed to deliver on requirements and milestones throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Ability to easily interact with all levels of organizational leadership while translating information succinctly to provide appropriate strategic directions and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Exemplary communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to effectively disseminate knowledge and concepts, as well as tailor communications to varying audiences within the organization.
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable plans, deliverables, messaging, and presentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • STRATEGY. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of market dynamics/competitive environment within services lines and implications for strategic priorities and resourcing needs for the system. In conjunction with senior leadership, and clinical leadership, develops a service line strategic plan and roadmap, informed by market research and competitive analysis designed to address patient need/demand and relative gaps and strategic opportunities for the system, including partnerships that could significantly increase operational and financial strength. Collaborate with finance and operations teams in managing service line planning, growth, and integration efforts as required. Operates as a visionary thinker and successfully implements strategic initiatives. Manages joint venture partnerships and develops a strategy for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships collaborating, where appropriate, with other service line leaders and dyad partnerships. Regularly collaborates with hospital senior leadership and system executives to align strategic goals and ensure effective communication channels.
  • OPERATIONS & REGULATION. Provide direction and support for the ongoing development and operations of the service line. In partnership with key division personnel and hospital administrative leadership teams, develop tactics, promote operational standards, and ensures services are coordinated across the continuum of care. Provide exceptional leadership in developing highly engaged and high performing teams. In conjunction with the clinical dyad model, supports the recruitment of new physicians and other clinical personnel to support quality access and growth. Manage partnerships and maintains operations with other service line leaders and dyad partnerships. Maintains oversight for all strategic and operational elements for the service line, including planning and execution, talent management and team building, financial planning/P&L accountability, and physician hire and retention. Collaborate with all levels of the organization to identify opportunities to achieve operational and financial efficiencies across the system, including labor productivity, measurement and optimization. Ensures that monitoring systems are in place to track compliance with all applicable accreditation, regulatory, and legal requirements. Identifies and develops leading practices and higher degree of standardization in the approach, tools, methods, reports, and analysis to support the various strategies and business requests.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
