We’re currently seeking a Primary Care Physician to fill an opening with a correctional facility in Ontario, OR offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, and great work-life balance.

Ontario, OR. Located an hour from Boise, ID, the city of Ontario sits along the Snake River in a rural part of Treasure Valley. Being located on the border with Idaho, Ontario is often known as the city “where Oregon begins”. The city boasts multiple picturesque parks and many opportunities for hiking, hunting, and fishing. Being settled by highly diverse groups of people, the city celebrates many traditional festivals of cultures from all around the world.

Details & Responsibilities –

• Competitive Pay

• 8 or 10 hour shifts

• No call or weekends required

• Start Date – ASAP

• Credentialing Estimate – 1 month

• Primary Care. Provide standard primary care – diagnose medical conditions, perform physicals, med management.

• Take a leading role in the treatment of patients. Collaborate & work with other providers, nurses and medical assistants to ensure a high standard of care.

• Refer Patients. As needed, refer patients to off-site specialists.

• Patient Load – Adult population. Approximately 10-12 PPD.

  Required Qualifications –

• Active/Unrestricted OR Medical License

• BC/BE with ABIM or ABFM

• BLS/ACLS Certification

• Active/unrestricted DEA
