Learn more about benefits at Meta at this link: https://www.metacareers.com/facebook-life/benefits.Duties:Develop and produce multi-channel event programs through solid positioning, messaging, event planning, project management, contract negotiating, and cross-functional relations, that ensures Meta’s positioning in the marketplace. Share and scale assets and experiences, maximize efficiencies and cultivate new ideas that benefit programs globally. Foster feedback loop with cross-functional teams to continually measure event effectiveness. Defines and refines event metrics as part of overall marketing effectiveness. Profit and loss responsibility, budget and planning for complex programs. Influence other functional areas, provide direction and exert influence in shaping experiences or programs. Deeply understand partners’ goals and metrics, building solutions to capture and provide event KPIs. Evaluate and report on event's success as part of overall business goals. Manage large teams of internal cross-functional partners and third-party agencies and vendors across complex events, fostering open communication and driving excellence in delivery. Oversee 360-degree event marketing strategies that include input from cross-functional teams and align with overall Meta strategy and branding. Contribute to and set team-level goals and functional strategy. Leverage external data and insights to inform strategy. Develop and review creative concepts for events, and work with marketing teams and internal/external partners to build and enhance programs. Ability to travel frequently for events, sometimes internationally. Position includes 30% to 40% of domestic and international travel.Requirements:Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field and 36 months of work experience in job offered or in a marketing-related occupation. Experience must include 36 months of experience in the following: 1. Marketing strategy experience in the advertising, marketing technology, or media industry; 2. Working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; 3. Knowledge of today’s advertising, marketing, and media landscape; 4. Creating and evolving experiences that showcase product offerings, AR and VR technology, with building event experiences with and aligning use of these technologies to business goals; 5. Working in close collaboration with agency creatives, designers, and producers on a variety of digital and interactive projects; 6. Concepting, programming, and producing events of all sizes — from intimate C-level experiences, to large scale events; 7. Experience across key marketer audiences (agency, brand, direct response, or developers); 8. Project management skills of complex programs and budgets of $1M+; 9. Managing all aspects of a program in an organization; 10. Delegating registration platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, or SplashThat; 11. Virtual event hosting platforms such as Zoom or Bluejeans events; and 12. Working with emerging technologies and following trends, consistently enhancing programs, and bringing new ideas to the table.
