Providence is calling a Compliance Specialist who will: Provide compliance and privacy program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates in furtherance of our mission and to provide an effective compliance program Possess mid-level skills in investigative and research techniques and practices Have and continue to develop a greater expertise in certain regulatory, compliance and privacy topics Work with highly sensitive information Support Providence St. Joseph Health and its affiliates, including hospitals, physician clinics, skilled nursing facilities, health plan, medical foundations, educational institutions, child care centers, in-home services, and Providence Strategic Management Services (PSMS) Providence welcomes residents to apply who live within a daily commutable distance of our office location listed below: Washington: Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, Swedish Edmonds and Millcreek Please note the following important detail regarding this role: This position may include some overnight travel and routine inter-facility commuting This position will require for you to have an onsite presence weekly as defined by manager and departmental needs Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience Compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting Preferred qualifications for this position include: 3+ years of progressive Compliance / Privacy, RIS Internal Audit and / or Information Security experience 3+ years of Health Information Management, Accreditation Services or Revenue Cycle experience Why Join Providence?
