Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services.

• Review and prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.

• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize tax savings opportunities.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on tax-related matters and resolving tax issues as they arise.

• Supervise and mentor staff members, providing training and guidance to support their professional development.

• Build and maintain client relationships, delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive and strategic tax advice to clients.

• Assist with business development efforts, including participating in client meetings and networking events to grow the firm's client base.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA license required.

• Technical expertise in individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.

• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx Tax, CCH Axcess Tax) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring staff members.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
