Job Description

We are looking for a top-performing FX Product Manager with an innovative mindset to help us build the FX capabilities of tomorrow. Reporting to the Head of FX Channels, this person has a proven track record of delivering exceptional products. This is a key role within the FX business and will provide strategic direction and execution of our FX capabilities.

Product Development: includes strategic planning, capability roadmaps, development prioritization, creation of business cases, business needs documentation, product readiness, participation in internal partnership meetings, responding to and remediating findings related to audits, vendor management, regulatory and compliance issues and risk management

  • Oversee strategy and development of a portfolio of FX capabilities, including responsibility for outcomes and providing leadership of teams.

  • Lead the development of cross-functional initiatives in support of business objectives.

  • Prioritize initiatives and the backlog based on a deep understanding of industry insights, business goals and competitive intelligence.

  • Create and execute on a clear, actionable channel roadmap with priorities to deliver optimal results for customers and the business.

  • Execute in an agile product development environment.

  • Ensure compliance to all required internal processes prior to any external commitments are made or any new initiative is moved to “go live” phase.

Product Marketing: includes communication, industry trend tracking, competitive intelligence gathering and regulatory intelligence gathering.

  • Competitive analysis – e.g., know what competition has in that product set (or plans to develop) and do comparative analysis.

  • Customer profiling/targeting – refine with increase data/history – develop profile of target customers.

  • Market research – pre-product launch and post-launch to determine market acceptance/viability.

Leadership: includes building relationships across the enterprise, influencing other teams and representing FX on cross-organizational product development

  • Support a culture that emphasizes continuous learning, data analysis, innovation and client focus.

  • Evangelize new opportunities, cultivating innovation mindset, sharing strong FX and payments expertise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of and a passion for product management.

  • Knowledge of payments and confirmations related to foreign exchange transactions, with extensive knowledge related to SWIFT, Hogan DDA, ACH, Fed Wire and foreign currency accounts.

  • Familiarity with Application Programing Interface (APIs) and other emerging technology within banks

  • Demonstrate leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven track record of building excellent products

  • Proven success achieving objectives requiring a high level of cooperation from people in other parts of the organization.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytic capabilities utilized to identify root cause issues/improvement opportunities and designing approaches/programs to address those issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of product management experience

  • 2+ years of FX experience

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $144,160.00 - $169,600.00 - $186,560.00
