Job Description

The role: The successful candidate will support the Trading Leads with day to day reporting supplying data as required and work with Trading Leads in order to create Agency Reports on an ongoing basis. The Trading Executive will also help support members of the team on all bespoke projects.

Day to day you will:

● Conduct analysis to contribute towards monthly reports for all Agency Groups, e.g. Group M, Publicis and Omnicom.

● Contribute to reports that manage the CPS compliance of all News UK client contracts.

● Contribute to ad hoc analysis that the Trading Team may require as part of negotiating

processes.

● Contribute towards the creation of monthly reports for the various teams within News UK.

● Reconciling and compiling data with our external auditors.

● Compiling Monthly Circulation reports.

● Conducting in-depth estimate revenue reports in order to assist the team with provision and forecasting.

● Take part in meetings to reconcile differences in contract delivery status.

● Review current market trends and analysis in order to help to sell in News UK’s various propositions.

● Apply knowledge and understanding of the industry challenges and opportunities and apply

these trading mechanics.

What we are looking for from you:

● Experience of using Excel to understand, manipulate and interrogate data.

● Understanding of media channels such as Print, Digital, Out of Home, Radio & Cinema, how these media are inter related from a deal perspective.

● Experience in presenting data to stakeholders using reporting tools such as Tableau.

● Understanding how to interpret and analysing audience measurement trends for Newsbrands within the UK market.

● Ability to research revenue generating propositions and provide recommendations for

revenue generation.
