Title: Manufacturing Technician - Traction Motor Remanufacturing

Location: Kansas City, MO

Salary: $21.50 per hour

Shift: First shift, Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2pm

Job Description: As a Manufacturing Technician for Traction Motor Remanufacturing, you will play a crucial role in disassembling, cleaning, requalifying, reworking, and assembling Traction Motor Combo components. Your responsibilities will include operating manual and automated equipment, adhering to quality procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and lean manufacturing principles. You may also be involved in special processes such as welding or non-destructive testing, for which specialized training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Safely perform manufacturing tasks in compliance with all EHS policies and procedures.

• Provide support for the remanufacture of UX Traction Motor Combo components.

• Utilize manual and automated production equipment to meet specified requirements.

• Inspect completed work using precision measuring devices and testing protocols to ensure quality standards are met.

• Document all work steps and sign off on process documentation.

• Process components in accordance with internal requirements.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.

• Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies.

• Ability to use manual equipment and hand tools safely.

• Working knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.

• Understanding of manufacturing and quality procedures in a lean manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $21.50 per hour
