Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group has an opening for a Research Associate for a long-term engagement at one of our Global medical device clients in Jacksonville FL

Job Description:

  • Support R&D Ops teams by contributing to guided method development, suggesting and facilitating method improvements, and testing samples by MTMs and TMs.

  • Complete documentation of all GxP activities in laboratory notebook and LIMS.

  • Provide feedback where improvements can be made within the laboratory.

  • Serve as liaison to ensure upcoming equipment needs are being met (delivery/retrieval of small equipment to the Calibrations Lab and assist Cal Dept locating equipment in R&D Operations Labs).

  • Review equipment information as supplied by Cal Dept and notify R&D Ops team members when discrepancies exist. Work as a team to resolve.

  • Support self-certification activities for standards/equipment, as needed.

  • Obtain quotes for new standards or other relevant equipment calibration needs.

  • Support R&D Ops team in the shipment of assets for external calibrations.

Job Functions

• Standards- certification and calibration support

• Equipment- calibration support

• Testing- Guided method development, along with executing documented methods

• Follow approved procedures for services provided.

• Follow all EHS policies.

• Perform all work based on GxP guidelines.

• Complete nonconformance documentation in collaboration with Quality team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific field

  • 1-2 years working experience in R&D or appropriate scientific field where equipment calibration is required.

  • Ability to operate and maintain instruments after training to support certification activities.

  • Thorough knowledge, understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices of cGMP/GLP guidelines.

  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to coordinate calibration efforts for 700+ assets.

  • Application of principles, concepts, and practices of cGMP guidelines.
