What’s the job?

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our industrial thermal and acoustical insulation solutions manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring the efficient production of thermal and acoustical insulation solutions materials while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. The Operations Manager will lead a team of production staff, coordinate with various departments, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and minimize costs.

• Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing processes to ensure timely production of thermal and acoustical insulation solutions materials.

• Implement production schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet production targets.

• Continuously improve production efficiency and identify opportunities for process optimization.

• Promote a culture of safety within the facility and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.

• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.

• Stay updated on relevant environmental regulations and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.

• Provide guidance and support to team members, resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise.

• Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the production team.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished products.

• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations and minimize lead times.

• Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and improve inventory accuracy.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.

• Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.

• Foster a culture of innovation and encourage team members to contribute ideas for process improvement.

Required Qualifications

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• 8 -10 year’s experience in Operations management in a manufacturing environment.

• 3 – 5 years Supervision experience

• In-depth understanding of thermal and acoustical insulation solutions materials, their properties, and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with various application methods and equipment used in the thermal and acoustical insulation solutions process, such as spraying, coating, or mixing.

• Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
