Insight Global Workday PATT Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Job Description

The Workday PATT specialist will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving the time capture to general ledger end-to-end process of paying our team members. From a Workday technical perspective, this role will manage requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and release of changes to production. From a functional perspective, this role will focus on managing change impacts, end-user adoption, process optimization, and continuous improvement. Working with area subject matter experts (SMEs) and business process owners (BPOs), the PATT specialist will support and implement new features and enhancements, focusing on Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. This includes designing, building, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Workday features to ensure they meet expected service levels and to prioritizing the backlog of enhancements. This role will also troubleshoot system and business process performance issues. The PATT specialist will also play a crucial role in governing Moss Team Member Support Services for Time, Payroll, and Accounting.

Skills and Requirements

Proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office software products.

Experience doing 2+ full cycle implementations

Expertise in human resource information systems (HRIS) and/or the ability to quickly learn new applications.

Extensive business process knowledge, configuration, and hands-on experience (minimum of three years) in Workday Payroll with a preference for at least two of the following additional areas: HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Projects, and Core Financials.

Strong understanding of fundamental payroll practices, including but not limited to state compliance in main regions of business, contextualization of downstream impacts across each module to payroll & labor costing, and the overall payroll processing workflow.

Practical experience with construction/hourly labor industries.

Experience with configuring Workday modules including integrating with third-party apps.

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in information systems, computer science, or business administration or commensurate experience required. Strong understanding of construction costing allocation principles and practices.

Practical Workday integration experience and Workday Certification preferred but not required. null
