Position: Operations Project Manager

Location: Des Moines IA - Hybrid

Join our client company as a Project Manager within the business. You will work within the cross-functional teams, especially operations and business groups in the sector of life insurance and annuity.

Your base knowledge or expertise in either life insurance products, annuity products, or both is highly anticipated in this role. You will have opportunities to leverage your domain knowledge and experience in this role by working alongside operations and business teams, assuming responsibility for Project Management and key deliverables.

This position allows you to specialize and focus on your expertise. While familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is beneficial, the steep technical knowledge can be left to other specialized roles. You can concentrate on the operational aspects as a Project Manager, uniquely placing you in a position to make a significant impact on projects without the red tape common in larger enterprise organizations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years' experience Project Manager or Product Manager

• PMP preferred and experience in managing cross-platform projects.

• Life insurance and financial service project management experience.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools.
