About the Opportunity

As Regional Sales Manager for ELGi USA's Portables Division, you will be tasked with maintaining and growing equipment and parts revenue sold through Independent Rep Agencies.

As Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  • Identify, pursue and secure new business from dealers, rental accounts, and end-users
  • Recruit and manage a dynamic team of Independent Rep Agencies
  • Serve as a technical resource to customers by offering assistance on product and application questions
  • Attend national and regional trade shows promoting the ELGi (Rotair) product line
  • Act as a liaison providing feedback to management on relevant market information
  • Monitor sales of assigned territory and reps to ensure sales goals are achieved
  • Provide various sales and management reports as required monthly forecasts, bi-weekly major account and opportunities update, and rep monitoring
  • Other tasks as needed or assigned

About You

The Regional Sales Manager role may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years' related experience selling construction equipment through dealers and independent rep agencies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a network of Independent Sales Agents
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, mostly in the USA and Canada, but occasionally to Europe or India
