SUMMARY

This position is critical to supporting the organizations project development efforts. Works with staff and independently to successfully seek out projects suitable for the Timber division. Assists Project Development Managers with writing quote letters and performing project searches. Assists Contract Administrators with various documents concerning construction contracts for the Timber Division, dealing with the contractors as a coordinator between clients, project manager and subcontractors. The job duties of the Project Development Coordinator range from general office to technical document compliance reviews. Duties includes contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, and/or services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with maintaining a sales program within the territory based on customer needs and the Companys desires;

``` - Searches for and pursues suitable projects for the Timber division;

``` - Assists with planning, designing and permitting on potential projects with the Project Development Team;

``` - Assists and prepares proposal letters and applicable sales contracts for orders obtained. This may involve preparing bids for government entities;

``` - Maintain current files on the progress of each sales prospect;

```{=html}

``` - Refers complaints to proper departments within the Company;

```{=html}

``` - Assists in identifying and compiling federal and state reporting requirements;

```{=html}

``` - Assists Contract Administrators or Project Manager with drafting, coordinating and tracking notices in compliance with the contract documents (i.e., delays and changed conditions);

``` - Upholds the Company policies and processes regarding contract management and use;

``` - Assists Contract Administrator with the systematic transfer of documents to corporate staff for accounting, audit and management purposes;

``` - Assists in invoicing of projects and collection of past due accounts;

``` - Establishes and maintains contact with Project Managers and contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract aware process;

``` - Prepares sales proposals in accordance with BMI policies and procedures;

``` - Collect contracts and create draft JIS for Corporate approval;

```{=html}

``` - Completes job close-out documents and issue to customers;

```{=html}

``` - Archives completed records; and

```{=html}

``` - Updates marketing job listing monthly.

Compensation:

BMI offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental and vision benefits with an HSA and $1,000 employer HSA contribution yearly. A retirement plan with immediate vestment and company contribution of 3% gross taxable wages. Compensation is dependent upon skills and experience.
