WTW QA Lead in Cambridge, United Kingdom

As the Software QA Lead, you will assume a crucial position within vTeam at WTW. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the QA processes, ensuring the delivery of products that adhere to WTW's stringent quality standards. This role necessitates close collaboration with developers and product owners to uphold industry leading practices.

The role also involves coaching and mentoring fellow team members on quality methodologies and frameworks, emphasizing the importance of staying abreast of industry trends.

The Role

The Software QA Lead role involves the following activities and challenges:

  • Defining and driving the improvement of test strategy and processes

  • Work closely with our Head of QA to ensure alignment with company standards

  • Ensure that the team have the right level of test coverage including functional and non-functional tests

  • Identify gaps in testing and propose suggestions

  • Build, maintain and improve test frameworks

  • Develop and execute test cases and scripts for both manual and automated tests

  • Setup and drive exploratory testing sessions

  • Coach and mentor team members on best test practices

  • Become a trusted authority and leader within the team on QA driving a culture of quality

Requirements

  • Experience in defining and driving QA strategy both from the ground-up as well as continuously improving existing processes and strategy within an Agile teams

  • Hands on experience building test automation solutions for complex SaaS solutions using the Microsoft Azure infrastructure

  • Experience with C# test automation frameworks at all levels (unit, integration, API/system)

  • Experience of continuous integration and delivery

  • Commercial experience with Angular or similar UI frameworks
