As a Process Integration Engineer in the advanced non-volatile memory organization, you will be part of a team of world-class engineers who are working in an industry leading 300mm R&D facility on technology which enables future memory scaling. You will focus on the performance and manufacturability of Micron’s cutting-edge next-generation memories. Areas of concentration will include process integration and related cell and CMOS issues specific to advanced non-volatile memory technology. Applicants should possess good process and/or process integration knowledge. Role interacts significantly with the process development, cell and CMOS device, characterization, mask, and reliability groups.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead technology integration activities in defining and enabling manufacturability of advanced non-volatile memory.

  • Engage with numerous multi-functional teams including process development, device, design, yield improvement, advanced mask and other teams probe to arrive at solutions to yield and margin issues.

  • Design, complete, analyze and drive responses to experiments in the R&D fab.

  • Define and optimize process flows and develop creative solutions to meet product requirements.

  • Extract, supervise, analyze, and react to inline data, defect data, param data and probe data to fix yield issues, performance, reliability, add process margin and reduce costs.

  • Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities.

  • Communicate results, strategies and directions to a broad team including management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, etc.

  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics, semiconductor process integration and process development.

  • Understanding of data analysis, DOE, and statistical techniques

  • Excellent presentation skills

Education:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or closely-related field or MS in those fields with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
