Oracle Financial Services Financial Crime and Compliance Management platform is a comprehensive platform that allows financial institutions to leverage core capabilities for financial crime surveillance, detection, and event correlation along with watch list management, enterprise analytics, and regulatory reporting in a single, proven platform.

This platform designed to centrally manage and assess associated operational risks and controls as they relate to the organization’s AML, fraud, KYC, Case, Compliance Reporting and trading and broker compliance programs. In conjunction with the compliance risk and operational risk tied into the platform, it also allows management of financial crime investigations and operations across multiple jurisdictions and multiple lines of business within a single, unified environment already in use by top tier financial institutions around the world.

The Financial Crime and Compliance Management team under OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Advanced Analytics) is responsible to create industry-leading products for enterprises to enable efficient detection, investigation, and reporting of suspected money laundering and terrorist financing activity.

Calling all Java-based Engineers for the FCCM team who would be responsible to identify the microservices patterns for the architectural challenges in building cloud-based products. Deep insight into the understanding of how the microservices architecture is built for the problem area is required.

Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for applying your extensive knowledge of Java’s functional features to develop microservices and services for the product. You would be responsible for the entire microservices flow from understanding Requirements to ensuring the microservices are delivered. While you demonstrate on your skills to develop microservices applications you will gain knowledge of the product features and functionalities and enhance your skills on the functional domain.

You will be responsible for designing Web components using Oracle’s UI toolkit (Ojet) and providing direction on front-end technologies and approaches. You should understand the business and should be able to translate business requirements into technical specs, then engineer effective solutions to solve business problems.

Your Qualifications

  1. BE/MCA in Computer Science or related fields.

  2. 4+ years in software development.

  3. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax and JavaScript

  4. Working knowledge of React or Angular or OJET

  5. Working knowledge of Java, Spring boot, Micro-Profile (Preferably Helidon)

  6. Working knowledge of PL/SQL

  7. Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes

  8. Familiar with OCI, AWS or Azure

  9. Familiar with Linux, Unix or BSD

  10. Familiar with practices such as TDD, pairing, CI etc.

  11. Familiar with software engineering processes and principles, particularly in Agile

Our Ideal Candidate

The Candidate should preferably be from a banking domain. He should have been working in a Product based company. He should have worked in a reputed company. He should have implemented at least 2 project using common java-script frameworks (React, AngularJS, Vue etc.), Java, Spring-boot and SQL abilities and Micro Service Architecture.

The Candidate is well aware of the microservices patterns.

The Candidate should have hands-on experience in common java-script frameworks (React, AngularJS, Vue etc.).

The Candidate should have hands-on experience in web technologies like HTML, CSS, Java-script, Ajax, Bootstrap and jquery.

The Candidate should be very active and understand the complete flow of Product design and microservices patterns.

The Candidate should have experience demonstrating back-end technologies to integrate server-side capabilities into front-end code such as REST, JSON, Entity Framework, MVC, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.

Your Responsibilities

As an integral part of the FCCM development team, you will be responsible for the following –

  • Understand the Functional wireframe, data model and metamodel for the product you will work on.

  • Design and develop product user interface screens and understand the fabric for dependent technical microservices.

  • Creating microservices and their corresponding RestApi Endpoints.

  • Creating test cases and automating using CI-CD.

  • Help drive the FCCM products requirements using Oracle and Open standard tools, technology, and development practices.

  • Working directly with architects to ensure newer capabilities are built by applying the right design principles

  • Working with remote and geographically distributed teams to enable building the right products, using the right building blocks, and making them consumable by other products easily

  • Be very technically hands-on and own/drive key end-to-end product/services

  • Ensure customer success including delivering fixes/patches as needed
