Amazon Financial Analyst in Bengaluru, India

Description

Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst for Operations Finance team. The person would play a key role in driving

the business agenda. This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting,

forecasting & planning and to help business in decision support through data analysis & business insight.

Key job responsibilities

The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical and have the demonstrated ability to effectively

manage finances of a high-growth business including:

• Performing financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling

• Understand Financial statement controllership areas and build processes that augments

transparency and improves controls

• Facilitate financial reviews with business group and work with business leaders to ensure effective

finance and cost management

• Work closely with the business team to drive critical business goals like operations cost

optimization and contribute to free cash flows

• Partnering with business and finance leadership for high impact network level project(s) by

making financial model

• Manage financial planning and analysis

• Facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with data analysis and follow through with

operations leaders on actionable items for improving cost metrics over a period of time

• Work with accounting team to drive financial-book closure process

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial controls and procedures

  • •1+ years of Business finance partnering experience

  • • 1+ years of Financial Accounting experience

  • • Experience using data to influence business decisions

  • • Experience in financial budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

  • • CA/MBA

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve

  • controllership with measurable results experience
