ADP IT Support Trainee in Barcelona, Spain

We are looking for an IT Support Trainee based in our Barcelona office. We search for someone enthusiastic about working in a large company within an international environment. With a good sense of customer service, interpersonal skills, reactivity and the ability to work independently.

Our IT support technicians perform various functions to keep systems in top working condition.

Tasks /Key duties:

  • Solving level 2 IT problems: On site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of incidents for end user on workstations, software, printers, voice support devices and basic network troubleshooting.

  • Recommend and implement corrective solutions.

  • Appropriate identification and provision of escalation.

  • Participation in the setup and equipment deployment. Repair and replace damaged devices.

  • Setup computers with Microsoft Windows environment. MAC OS is a plus.

  • Support level 1 IT issues: Knowledge database creation, training if need it.

  • Maintain and update technical documentation regularly.

  • Manage stock of equipment and other supplies.

  • Ensure ADP security by installing and upgrading protection software.

  • Test new hardware and software before full-scale installation.

  • Participate in meetings with other international and local team member

Requirements:

  • Experience with diagnosis and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.

  • Remote control of workstations experience.

  • Support for the opening of incidents and assistance requests from users. Work with ticketing system.

  • Curiosity and awareness on new technologies.

  • Good English and Spanish communication skills. Catalan is a plus.

  • Good sense of customer service.

  • Excellent general IT knowledge for corporate networked workstations.

  • Previous experience will be a plus.
