Security and Compliance are perhaps the largest challenges our customers face today! These challenges are growing in speed and complexity at a seemingly exponential pace. The move to the cloud, new privacy regulations like GDPR, securing the Internet of Things (IoT), growing skill gap, increasing attacker sophistication and the growing economic opportunity for them are only going to make this more challenging and more important. We are ramping up the Data Compliance Product team at IDC with PM openings in the Purview product suite expanding our ecosystem investments to make inroads into the customers entire digital estate.

We’re looking for a talented Senior Product Manager who is energetic, self-driven and can easily switch from product management and planning to producing technical requirements that can be consumed by our engineering and research teams. This role requires cross-team, cross-company, cross-geo collaboration. The ideal candidate should have a strong affinity for the security and compliance industry, a demonstrated track record of great partner and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Identify User problems/Product opportunities based on user behavior

• Own the product roadmap for the assigned areas driving the long term and short term plans

• Define feature specs to clearly map out customer problems with feature requirements and the success metrics.

• Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver features & enhancements and iterate

• Monitor progress of the product/feature throughout the development lifecycle, identifying risks and opportunities, keeping key stakeholders informed

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing or developing product / services, preferably in the security and/or compliance space

• Deep sense of customer/user empathy

• Highly skilled at cross-org collaboration & effective communication across disciplines/groups

• Technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly master service capabilities, technical issues, business trends, and customer needs

•  Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple high-profile projects of varying timelines simultaneously 

•  Bachelor’s + degree in computer science or related fields

Added advantage: Previous work experience with security. compliance or risk product suites, creating product experiences for enterprise SaaS.
