Amazon Fleet Operations Manager in Bangalore, India

Description

The program manager will be a part of our middle mile organization and would be responsible for driving key programs significant for building a high quality and reliable fleet for ATS and improving logistic partners experience through a bouquet of Value Added Services (VAS) . The program manager would be responsible for designing, launching and managing a suite of services and vendors that enable our middle mile logistic partners. The Program Manager will be a single threaded leader who is responsible for defining the scope of the services, launching new products and features and overseeing vendor relationships on products that simplify the Logistic Partner experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization (program, product & tech) and own the results with leadership, responsible for delivering adoption and customer satisfaction . You will develop and oversee mechanisms to evaluate program health, ensure the products are fit for purpose through direct engagement with the customer.

This person will be comfortable in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced and ever-changing environment and willing to roll-up their sleeves to dive deep and effectively partner with internal and external teams.

Key job responsibilities

Scope and execute programs to build a fleet of high quality and reliable vehicles for ATS

Create and drive Value Added Service programs on the basis of logistic partners and market requirements to meet industry standards

Develop strong, value-add partnerships and managing 3rd party companies.

Influencing internal and external stakeholders/partners, and building partnerships across a wide range of 3P partners

  • Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver

  • Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics

  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

  • Efficient in stakeholder management and program reporting
