Provide individual and group mental health therapy to young adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs. Therapy provision is based on cognitive-behavioral treatment principles and motivational interviewing, as well as best practices for young adults. Assist young adult clients by (1) sharing information and education on mental health conditions, (2) helping clients build coping strategies, psychological skills, and ways to improve their daily function and quality of life, and (3) helping clients to identify and achieve life goals.Perform mental health assessments with young adults, assess for social and mental health needs; assess for risk of suicide.Participate in screening, tracking, and reporting of young adult goals, needs, and outcomes. Maintain current, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with law, ethics, and Amplify and UTHA policies.Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and provide discipline-specific knowledge around mental health and innovative ways to approach social and emotional needs of young adults.Perform other related duties as assigned.
