Preferred location: Atlanta, GA or Henderson, NV (HYBRID) Upgrade Project Managers are responsible for the development, coordination and completion of assigned software upgrade/implementation projects. The Upgrade Project Manager is the primary point of contact for the client when planning and implementing Elekta software solutions. The goal is to work towards and ensure a timely, quality and under budget implementation. The selected candidate will be responsible for building client relationships and maintaining client satisfaction during and after the implementation. The Upgrade Project Manager will work closely with other Elekta team members to schedule resources to complete the required task(s). The success of the Upgrade Project Manager relies strongly on his/her ability to communicate, set and maintain clear expectations with everyone involved in the implementation. Responsibilities: Support and further customer implementations of their assigned Elekta products as per established procedures, as well as document and communicate the status of such implementations and constantly seek ways to improve processes and documentation. Oversee and take charge of customer implementations by providing guidance and support to customers as necessary with the aim of effecting a timely and successful implementation of devices and software and providing a single point contact to the customer. The project manager is responsible for the revenue of each project. Exercise his/her influence with the customer to drive the project, without sacrificing the quality of the implementation. Maintain awareness of all preorders within his/her territory and communicate those opportunities to the manager of Project Management on a weekly basis. Maintain the central documentation database to manage and communicate progress on pending implementations. Maintain CLM and ERP with individual site details. Communicate the status of implementations to Site Coordinator, Order Administration, Installation and Application teams. Also establish/maintain communication with Sales for leads and opportunities. Analyze upcoming installations in terms of product mix and revenue to help prioritize scheduling. Implement modifications to process/documentation to increase efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. Review and contribute to product-specific engineering documentation. Generate, edit, maintain product-specific documentation and distribute as part of implementation and process (e.g., Checklists, feature notes, technical references, interface specifications, help files, etc.) Generate or assist in the generation of proposals which outline ELEKTAs standard implementation process or propose alternative solutions to meet customer requirements. Update ERP and CLM systems with the project planning data to allow forecasting of revenue. Qualifications: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience managing software implementation projects and or medical equipment projects. Minimum BS or BA Degree or equivalent experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time. Assertive character to guide the customer according to the company targets rather then being guided by the customer. Ability to effectively interact with customers (via phone and in person.) Ability to effectively interact with members of other departments. Demonstrated initiative in mastering core and specialty product assignments. Familiarity/proficiency with the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project and Windows Based Applications. Tenacity and the ability to effectively use available resources to assess and resolve problems. Ability to travel 40% of the time. Demonstrated ability to accomplish objectives with and through others without direct control.
