Project Support Analyst - Corporate Travel

This is a virtual position that can be filled in the USA or Canada

The Project Support Analyst will provide support by coordinating and scoping the operational project requests submitted to BCD Travel's Global Project Management Organization team. This includes validating project requests and their scope, confirming a target go-live date and assigning resources to the project prior to handing over to the lead Project Manager. This role will also support other projects, activities and administrative functions of the GPMO team, as needed to ensure departmental goals and objectives are accomplished.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Manages and coordinates the broad scoping process for project requests. Prepares basic documentation of new projects through to project assignment including the collection and understanding of: contract, pricing, Statement of Work, Scope of Services

*Oversees the request of functional department date availability for all projects

*Manages up to senior level company executives during project scoping.

*Maintains complex country, requirements and date lists of global projects

*Assists team with special projects, planning special events and staff meetings, as needed

*Obtain knowledge of BCD Travel's product line - tools and services that BCD Travel offers to customers.

*Provides clerical support for project calls including but not limited to meeting notes preparation.

*Maintains departmental forms, templates, contact lists and supporting documents.


  • High level understanding of and exposure to various Project Management methodologies, such as Six Sigma

  • Travel or Hospitality (air/hotel) industry experience - preferably in a project management support role.

  • Experience with Planview, SharePoint and/or Salesforce is strongly preferred

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Ability to travel a few times a year for team and other internal meetings (estimated 10% travel)

  • Ability to work full-time in a virtual capacity from your home office

  • Experience with managing conflict resolutions
