Role reports to: Associate Manager, Medical Affairs CE

What you will do

The Associate Medical Affairs Benelux will be a scientific expert relating to the company’s products and therapeutic areas of interest, with a focus on engaging in high-level exchange, on building and maintaining long term peer-to-peer relationship with external experts and on understanding and uncovering unmet medical needs and on generating relevant insights.

He/she will work as a key partner with cross functional colleagues from departments including Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and R&D and will need to be comfortable working with (Drugs, Cosmetics, Food Supplements and Medical Devices).

He/she will support Medical Affairs activities of Kenvue’s portfolio for Benelux with a focus on medicinal products. This includes:

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure medical education events are correct and fulfill internal/external compliance rules. Execute external and internal training courses for pharmacists, general practitioners, or sales representatives on medical topics in the indication area of Kenvue’s products, with a focus on OTC drugs.

  • Provide medical input/scientific support for medical/HCP content creation. Review and approve medical content for HCP omnichannel assets.

  • Facilitate scientific engagement, scientific exchange, and medical information (specific focus on messaging towards pharmacists, general practitioners, and smoking cessation specialist).

  • Serve as a medical and scientific resource for internal stakeholders, including marketing colleagues and sales force.

  • Populating and maintaining medical affairs systems (claim database, medical enquiry database, literature searches).

  • Assisting in medical review of promotional material in accordance with applicable codes of practice and regulations, company policies and any other relevant regulations.

  • Assist in the defense of key claims upon challenge and challenge on competitor advertising as appropriate.

  • Support the departments for Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance in the preparation of relevant medical/clinical texts. Support of the Regulatory Affairs Department in the preparation of the necessary scientific information for HCPs as well as the information leaflets for patients in compliance with the legal requirements. Participate in the preparation of registration documents and product information for submission to the national and international registration authorities in cooperation with internal stakeholders.

  • Initiate patient/customer-centered solutions

  • Support the Medical Affairs team in participating in risk procedures to avert drug risks. Ensure compliance with applicable local and global laws, regulations, guidelines and company policies and procedures. Act within the values of Kenvue.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • University degree – medical or paramedical (pharmacy, biology, veterinary, biomedical sciences) or equivalent by experience.

  • Professional work experience in OTC/Self Care.

  • You speak and write fluently in French, Dutch, and English.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to various audiences.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Solid understanding of relevant advertising codes of practice desirable and familiar with respective health authorities.

  • Experience in Regulatory Compliance (SPC – PIL –CTD documentation)

  • Experience in developing networks with external experts and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships in cross functional teams.

  • Professional respect and credibility with extensive knowledge of therapeutic area, encompassing business strategy and market trends.

  • Strong and effective communicator (both internally and externally), ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms (written and verbal).

  • Proficient English, French and Dutch (speaking, reading, and writing).

  • Experience in presenting and disseminating scientific information.

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively.

  • Demonstrates ability to work with teams and individuals.

  • Easily adaptable and receptive to change.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the worktime.
