Job Description Details:

Technology Services Senior Manager Finance will partner with the finance and corporate organizations to build, enhance, and support SAP applications. He/She will be responsible for the design and delivery of SAP Finance projects and integration with other systems which requires the use of specialized technical & functional knowledge.

Primary responsibilities include Design and Deployment of SAP Finance projects, lead and support Invoice to Cash flows, and provide escalation support on SAP Finance and the integration of the platforms with corporate SAP and non-SAP systems. This role requires a combination of finance business process and technology expertise. As Senior Manager, you will collaborate with Business Unit IT partners to lead upstream/downstream system impact and interfaces.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Technology Services Senior Manager Finance will:

  • Leads Design and Delivery of SAP Finance including Invoice to Cash solutions. This role requires a broad in-depth knowledge of Finance business processes, Invoice to Cash, FSCM module, and integration with SAP and Non-SAP Systems.

  • Responsible for reviewing user stories, user story functional document specifications, review technical specifications and coordinate required development activities. Leads to create or modify system specifications or test scripts to complete project implementation.

  • The incumbent will be responsible to configure SAP system with the functionality defined in the business requirements and participate in integration and user acceptance testing of RICEF’s.

  • Leads the assessment of the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provides appropriate recommendations based on industry trends and existing design.

  • Manage the budget for the delivery of the service and be responsible for reporting on service performance to leadership and customers.

  • Captures customer insights to improve SAP projects throughout design & delivery and delivers continuous improvement recommendations to service owners. Conduct impact analysis on process/tools coming from new/enhanced services.

  • Assists in knowledge transfer to team members and organizations after successful delivery of the service.

  • Performs assessments of customer demand and partners with order analysts to deliver estimates and quotes for SAP Finance design and delivery service(s) to the customer

  • Plan, select, and schedule approved vendors to deliver the service. Oversee the work of vendor resources throughout a project. Provide guidance and expertise to team members in executing the projects/enhancements.

  • Develop service improvement plans and/or run service improvement initiatives

  • Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation as necessary, and participates in compliance activities as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology or equivalent

  • A minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of SAP experience within Finance, Invoice to Cash and FSCM.

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in SAP FSCM and Invoice to Cash process.

  • S4 HANA SAP Finance knowledge and experience

  • A demonstrated understanding of financial business processes

  • Problem solving and process improvement skills

  • The ability to partner with, influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management

  • The ability to lead a team of professionals and external consultants

Preferred:

  • Advanced understanding of J&J I/T's technology standards and strategies

  • Experience supporting businesses within Pharma, Medical industry is highly desirable

  • Experience working in Gxp environment

  • Cross functional experience and experience with integration with MM, SD, PP modules

  • Individual must be proficient in creating defects and test scripts using QTest or JIRA.

  • Standout colleague with good communication skills and be customer oriented, aiming at effective collaboration with internal and external partners.

  • Experience effectively collaborating and handling partners.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability of accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Other:

Approximately 5 % of local, domestic and international travel may be required for this position.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000- $203,550.

  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

o Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

o Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

o Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
