Molnlycke is now searching for a North American Logistics Operations Manager to successfully to oversee the operations of our three warehouses in North America whereof one DC is operated by own WH workers and two are operated by a 3-PL supplier, ensuring the operations continuously evolve and supports company strategy. This position aims to manage the operational North America Logistics team, whose objective, together with the manager, is to deliver optimal and excellent logistical customer service to all North America external and international customers. It also involves managing operational activities with multiple Distribution Centers and Service providers across NA region to ensure excellent service through the value chain and to end customers. There is a key focus on managing compliance for inventory management, cycle counting, product handling, and other services as required. Laser focused on driving cost savings with a focus on visibility, variability and velocity; while monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods. Developing appropriate processes and ensuring that established policies, rules, regulations and procedures are followed is also a part of the role. Having the ability to identify and deliver improvement projects within the context of the overall logistics development program is also paramount. Skilled at providing direction for systems improvements (WMS and TMS) and changes to operational requirements through the operational team leaders, while managing complex and senior, internal and external relationships and conflicts on several layers on operational and tactical level, particularly with GCX, SNP and CT. Moreover, this role requires complex problem solving with the ability to balance urgency of action with sustainability of solution, and analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements.

Performance & Reporting management
Keep stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements, both from a warehouse operational perspective and an inventory level perspective
Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand
Track and report contractor’s performance and ensure corrective actions are in place to prevent recurring failures
Compliance & Regulatory Management
Ensure the highest operational standards are deployed at all times
Ensure warehouses and transport systems are compliant with current Health and Safety regulations
Ensure proper compliance and adherence to export/import administration regulations
Continuous improvement & Best Practice Sharing
Implementation of Zero Error Logistics Strategy across all North America warehouses and take an operational lead in sharing best practice in this area with Site Leaders in Operations
Influence stakeholders and suppliers in new ways of working to drive efficiencies in the relationship
Promote continuous improvement for the operations related functions

What you’ll need:
Minimum bachelor's degree, with a preferred supply chain management concentration
Extensive experience managing people & leaders in a dynamic & international environment
Minimum 8-10 years of extensive experience working within logistics/warehouse management; with a minimum of 5 years leadership experience (people manager/leading leaders)
Minimum 8-10 years of working with supply chain related activities, such as planning, warehousing & transportation
IT knowledge:
SAP / ERP application
Microsoft Office: Outlook/Excel/Word/Teams
Power BI experience preferred
Previous experience with Transportation Management System Preferred
Analytical and monitoring skill set is required
Experience from work with continuous improvement and considerable interpersonal skills
Ability to develop relationships at various levels within an organization with influence to junior and senior colleagues
Primary assignment is a normal office environment; Will be required to enter the warehouse / distribution environment
Travel required (at minimum 25%) in line with support of a North America Operation, with multiple and distribution centers and service providers across North America within defined area of responsibility
