Rowan University Adjunct Faculty, Department of Music - Clarinet Instructor in Glassboro, New Jersey

The Rowan University Department of Music announces an Adjunct Professor of Clarinet position (part-time, non-tenure track) to begin September 1, 2024. The successful candidate will join a thriving music program with a proud and long-standing tradition of excellence in music education and performance. The Department of Music is committed to providing collaborative opportunities and inclusive programming for its nearly 400 music majors. This Adjunct Clarinet Professor must demonstrate excellence as a teacher of clarinet, as well as significant experience and accomplishment as a performer, and woodwind chamber music coach. A master's degree in music is required.

The primary responsibility of the position is to teach weekly applied lessons for undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Woodwind Division Faculty in performance and recruiting, and the Director and Associate Director of Bands on auditions and recruiting.
